Primary Care CAMHS is provided by The Primary Care Trust and includes;

  • First Steps; Early Intervention and Community Psychology Service - This service aims to help young people and their families with emotional and behaviour concerns before they become major difficulties through direct support, supporting other professionals and mental health promotion. The service is based in GP surgeries and Children’s Centres.
  • CAMH Learning Difficulty and Disability (LDD) Service – This service is provided jointly with Specialist CAMHS and is for children who have emotional or behaviour problems related to developmental delay, learning difficulty or disability. The service is based in the ARK Child Development Centre.
