We assess and where possible find ways of working with the child or young person and those who look after them, in understanding and dealing with their problems in order to achieve change.
These ways of working with the child or young person may include a form of therapy for example Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy or Psychotherapy to name a few. Medication may also be discussed alongside a form of therapy.
All treatment offered is evidence based so has been researched thoroughly to ensure that the particular difficulty experienced by the child or young person is addressed using the most effective treatment available.
We aim to provide a service that respects the beliefs of those who use the service and is sensitive to their culture, race and gender.
