harming yourself?

Young man considering self harm

Sometimes people hurt themselves when things are very difficult – maybe an important relationship has ended, or there are problems at home or school. You or someone you know might have bad memories, or might be feeling angry, let down, hurt, upset, confused, desperate or suicidal.

CAMHS can offer a space for you to be listened to, heard and understood, so that you can work out what is going on, what choices you have and how you might manage.

Talk to your GP, social worker, teacher or youth worker to help decide which service would be best for you.
